The Powerlink cable is used to connect B&O systems with Neo products - such as Neo 7, Neo TV and Neo Radio.

Technical details about DIN 8 to RJ45 Powerlink cable

The Powerlink cable contains 8 wires, 2 pairs of which are twisted and shielded (right and left channels), 1 wire is shielded (data traffic), and one wire is for the overload signal. The entire cable is shielded as a whole.

The cable is also used for speakers with displays. These are B&O speakers such as BeoLab 3000, BeoLab 4500, BeoLab 5000, Penta MK II and Penta MK III.

The cable is also used for amplifiers such as ML/MCL Converter and BeoLink Passive.

The speakers and amplifiers mentioned above require specific wires in the cable. Pin 6 on the plug is a data pin required to use the speaker's display. Pin 1 on the plug is the speaker's power on/off, and finally, pin 8 detects overload on the amplifiers.
